I got one from Argos just before christmas.. is very good. Best type to get is the wing airer type. It's great for drying towels and sheets, and you can adjust the height. It's Item no 2, page 1249 of the latest argos catalogue (pink cover), catalogue number 850/0021 (That's the one I got!) or look on the website. Think I paid about 13 or 15 quid, so quite good really. Think it's gone up to £17.99 now tho. Hope that helps a bit. Belle0

The tall Lakeland one certainly does seem sturdy. The Minky one I recommended can be folded flat and put away. It is also on wheels so it can be moved around easily. If it makes any difference, the Minky one has 33m drying space and the Lakeland says it has 40m drying space.
Also, the one I recommended doesn't seem to be on Argos so I wonder where you saw it. Do let me know, it would be interesting to see how much they are as I may get another one for my parents.:T Hurrah for MSE0 -
Here is the Argos one & I got it today

I would have got the Lakeland one but Argos is so much nearer, Lakeland is a good drive.
It look similar to the Lakeland one & its not a collapseable one, so hopefully it won't collapse!!!0 -
I got one of these from argos as a wedding present 22 years ago and we're still using it:

Sorry for the delay in replying
This is the one I've got from Lakeland - as I said, it's expensive but I think it's great.0 -
I suggest you go for the pulley up to the ceiling ones that have wooden laths, they are great, they use the warm air in the top of the room.0

I got ours for £12 in Ikea about four years ago and as we live in a city flat, we use this solely for our drying needs (daily loads). My mum spent £30 on a new one from Lakeland and it was small and flimsy. It lasted her two weeks. About a year ago, i bought her the £12 Ikea one and she liked it so much she went to buy another one!CC1: £4481.14/ £5031.14 (12% paid off, £600) | CC2:£3307/ £3807 (14.4% paid off, £550) | Loan: £10,528.20/ £15,792.30((33% paid off, £5,264))
July debt total: £24,630.44 | New debt total: £18,316.34 | Total debt paid: £6,414.10 (26%)
