Not quite sure where to post this - I've posted on the student bit but no-ones answered so....
OK - I'm trying to get assessed for dyspraxia so I can get some help next year when I start my Masters. Not going into details as it takes far too long. I just need some help for doing exams as I was losing about 20% on my exams with my degree
I've started the ball rolling with an app with my GP - wonderful system - next appointment to see GP with a non- emergency is 27th Feb!!! So hopefully can get a referral to see an ed psych.
Does anyone know how much it costs to get these assessments done - not fair but our Uni (doing PGCE at mo) does the dyslexia ones for free - I have to fork out for dyspraxia myself - hmppph!

you should be able to go to your gp and get a referral to see ed psych ,you should not need to pay for this ,it also depends how old you are ? Is it for speech dyspraxia or body or both? Those who don't believe in magic will never find it♥0

I'm 42 at the mo - and it's body not speech, although I do have a slight stammer when nervous or tired.
My son is on a full statement for ADHD at the mo and I have also asked SENCO to look into the dyspraxia thing for him as well as it ticks an awful lot of boxes with him as well - especially the fatigue on doing physical exercise and immature behaviour.Noli nothis permittere te terere
