bank account with statre barred claim

how easy would it be to open a bank account with statre barred claim in place at the moment and what bank would you recomened i ahve not had any letters back since i sent the barred letter 12 days ago if i go to a bank to open a stndard acount to have wages paid in would i get one ?

Have you had a look at your credit files?

Is there anything on there to suggest they are still pursuing this?

If not then any bank will offer you an account subject to a current credit score - however I think it is best to avoid the original bank you had the debt with!

not sure never checked ,but soon as i sent letter to them about stat barred not had any letters for 2 weeks now . so say that it was still on whats chance would i have to get a bank acount only want it for my wages to be payed in

Get a copy of your credit file, see what is there, report back here and you will get some guidance.

Otherwise it is pure speculation.
