An American Comforter for sons bed- would I be wasting my money?

DS would like a new bed covering. He loves Yu-Gi-Oh, but you can't seem to be able to buy quilt covers in this. We lost out (by 50p:rolleyes: ) on the only one I ever saw on e-bay. You can get Yu-Gi-Oh GX in the U.K but this isn't what he wants. We've checked e-bay and we can get the Yu-Gi Oh design he wants on a comforter. We have relatives in canada and my memory of these is they are more like a thin quilt with the design on them. Would it be warm enough and would they fit in my washing machine. Again the Canadian relatives have larger top loading machines. I don't want to waste my money on something unsuitable but I don't have any other ideas either.

my daughter has a comforter for her bed that is for a double bed and that fits in my machine as it is quite thin, that and one fleece blanket for the colder nights is warm enough all year round, hope that helps

I have a throw on my bed over the quilt, just because I think it looks nice.

In the very cold winter its lovely, in the spring & autumn I just take it off at bedtime & in the summer I do away with the quilt & have the throw & a sheet.

had the same problem with diego from go diego go - only usa stuff was available. never got the comforter thing but bought toys from usa and ebay and he has now gone on to the next thing (scooby doo)
and now diego stuff is even in poundland grrrrr

I showed him the linenstore stuff, but apparantly that is Yu-Gi-Oh GX and not what he wants (clear as mud to me ). I'm not sure which it is on the amazon link is and will show him tonight.

We have agreed to buy him an american comforter as long as he tidies his bedroom up. He was so excited he offered to do the whole house...fingers crossed. :T

glad to help! glad you found it...its sometimes so hard to find stuff for the newer characters isn't it....diego was a nightmare, as was roary the racing car when it 1st came out.

hope he's pleased with it:D
