Norwich Union Investment Bond ?

I want to withdraw £1000 from my Bond and the telephone advisor asked me to confirm my withdrawal in writing .
She also asked me to confirm if I wanted the units cancelled from 1 of the 250 units I have or ,spread across the board .
I am a basic rate tax payer and she said it could affect my tax .
Not sure which I should opt for .Anyone help please .
Thank you

There is no advantage to be gained as a basic rate taxpayer though so dont worry about it. Just ask them to surrender the amount of £1000 equally across the segments. Alternatively, download a withdrawal form from their website and use that.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only.
