I have got a price for under floor heating (15sq metres) for £470 for the electric mat type with controller, does this sound like a reasonable price?
Thanks

Hi - we have underfloor heating in our kitchen, and I think that the area we covered was 16sq metres. It is also the electric mat type (Devimat) and we paid just over £500 two years ago so I would say it's a fair price.
We've had no problems with ours and it is really nice in winter, but I have to admit we did notice the difference in the electricity bills when we stuck it on willynilly at first!0 -
The heated floor will only increase your bill significantly if you let it run 24/7.
If you operate the system with a programmable control, 15-sq meters should cost you only about 0.10-0.20 to operate per day max.
Check out this link to find out exactly how much it is going to cost you:

(The calculator is in US dollars, but you can make the conversion: 1 pound equals 2 US dollars, so divide the cost you get with WarmlyYours by 2).0
