Is there a list somewhere that shows which companies are under which "big" company?

i.e. just looking into the Virgin Credit Card and it says

Also, as the Virgin Credit Card is issued by MBNA, remember you can't transfer a balance from another credit card issued by them.

So are there details somewhere on this site (I haven't found yet) or somewhere else, that show which Credit Card companies (and maybe banks etc.) are governed by which "Big" umbrella companies?

They are part of Citigroup now. However, you can still currently BT between Citigroup cards and Egg which is why we still show the separately on the table. The other change is that HSBC have sold off HFC and Beneficial but we are leaving them as part of HSBC until HFC and Beneficial change their own websites to reflect the change.
