Their automated system keeps calling me and hanging up and I just spent a fruitless 8 minutes on a 0870 call trying to get to the bottom of it with Vicki Pollards stroppier and stupider younger sister.

Anybody heard of them?

If they are the same company that rings me they are a VERY persisten DCA with an annoying autodialler system. If you don't answer it rings every hour and if you do, you get the automated message. They are listed on a website called whocallsme as nuisance callers.

I just had a call from them. Apparently debt collection agency. Each month i had to ring to sort out our direct debit with a car insurance company so we cancelled it and seeing as they were so unhelpful i gave them bank details and they still could not sort it and close insurance claim so i thought that they could wait for it thus my call from c.a.r.s . !

An old thread i know but i thought it might shed some light for others who get this number call them as our call came today.

I got a cable package from Virgin Media which included phone.
I immediatly started getting calls from MDR (Moorcroft Debt Recovery) asking for a Mr Raghuc Handrah Moluga.
I explained but they persisted. I complained to Virgin who said they would have a word with them.
Since then I have been harrassed by CARS, SRJ and, today, by NCO. Are they passing it around? Has anybody else been subjected to this kind of thing?

The csa website gives lots of information about (and I quote) the "strict Code of Practice, which is now the benchmark for Best Practice in the industry, assuring quality and professionalism in the services members provide."

They sound like thugs and the roughest company that i have ever dealt with(on the phone).

They are definitely amongst the most unpleasant and least professional company that I've ever dealt with. I found the hourly calls for 13 hours a day to be pretty stressful.

We switched our phone number and got an old phonenumber which had previously belonged to someone they were trying to contact so they then started to harass us.

They didn't really care that we weren't the people they were looking for - if they could bully us into giving them some money they would.

I have reported them to everybody including the police but the only thing that stopped the calls was changing our telephone number again.

Now nobody has our number except our blood relations, closest friends and my daughter's school. Companies are instructed to contact us by email and post and we have our own 0845 number for them to waste their time ringing.

It makes me so cross that they're allowed to get away with this.

I have come accross them from an old DVD online rental company, they never contacted me but reckoned I had not cancelled my subscrition and Cars were put on the case.

Also when my husband got a company car we cancelled our car insurance we asked Budget what to pay to end the insurance they told us, then added more charges and within 10 days of that got CARS on the case.

They seem to pick a lot of debts up that are not controlled by signed credit agreements, hence there tactics I think.
