Le Gourmet Market - poor service

A French internet company providing French food.
I ordered a basket of food as a Christmas gift. Heavy items were packed on top of lighter ones, so when it arrived most of the breakable items were broken. Some I ate and others were so crushed I threw them away.
I've E Mailed them 3 times with no success.
I don't expect a refund but I do think a gesture would be appropriate.
I'm going to send them a copy of this post and will update you if they respond.
