Hi All,

Please bare with me I'm new at this, just wanted to know are there anymore credit cards that offer balance transfers into your current account other than the virgin card and the MBMA card?. Been accepted for Virgin but refused for the MBMA and they will only give me £1500.00 credit limit, need more to pay off a credit lending..

I assume you mean MBNA.

As Virgin Card is administered by MBNA, it's no surprise that MBNA have refused your application after Virgin have accepted you.

Egg Card offers transfers into your current account. You can either do them using their website (using the 'Transfer a balance from overdraft/current account' option) or send Egg a Secure Message (again once you've logged in on their website).

Alternatively, read up about stoozing (check out the stoozing sub-board) - that way, once you have an Egg Money Card, you can route the balance from any card offering 0% balance transfers into your current account.
