May/June sounds about right for the Land Registry figures.

I'm predicting a mass chain collapse in March... in a 4 week period virtually every Chain will officially collapse, and there will be a mad rush to drop prices in an attempt to get a sale. The market relies on FTB. The are no FTB.

    Game over man, GAME OVER!

Bankruptcy isn't the worst that can happen to you. The worst that can happen is your forced to live the rest of your life in abject poverty trying to repay the debts.

SN......do it the other way around. Get !!!!!! off and then try to change things within your own area of expertise.
"The power of one" may sound trite (I use it too much as I believe in it still)...but look at the French bloke in the bank...one person caused so much trouble.....Though I don't suggest putting your energy into destructive things....but it IS possible to make a difference to the things you believe in if you channel your energy and intelligence.........and so endeth the lecture.;)

nope, just before then, people will realise that the ex BTL places will soon hit the market, that they'll be able to get a better deal on their purchase in a few weeks, that their chain is going no-where.... and they will pull out.

You'd think so but psychology doesn't really work like that. People have bought 'for the long term' and so will want to hang on - we know that 'property is always the best investment in the long run' so you'd be stupid to sell. Plus there's the hassle of selling (you don't just put a sell order into Bloomberg) and the cost. And your tenants have got another 3 months on their contract......

BTLers will be forced sellers and in large numbers IMO. Just, in many cases, not the most dispassionate ones.
