Bank say I don't eat enough!

    Isn't the point that these plans have to last for 3 years so have to have a small amount of 'give' to be realistic? Although you may well 'normally' restrict your spending to £x per week, there may be one week you need to travel somewhere unexpected, cook for family or guests and you need to average the cost of e.g. Christmas over the year.

    £120 per month does sound a realistic minimum from the bank's perspective, they have to take the risk that you are not being realistic, not you.

    Perhaps you should see if you can cut a bit more from the non-food monthly figures.

    We sorted it out in the end. We compromised and put £105.

    I see your point, I was really just going off the last years worth of bank statements, as I always pay by card. I don't resitrict it, I just don't really eat anything apart from clemantines, rice cakes, bread and soup. I don't really think about eating, it's just something you have to do occasionally!
