travelmoneyservices.co.uk - Advice Please

HiI was reading through various topics on the issue of exchange rates and I see this website mentioned quite regularly. https://www.travelmoneyservices.co.ukI had a quick look on it and they are offering $2.000 USD for June if I order now. But I have not found any posts of people who have used this service and what their experiences were. Does anyone have any experience of this company? Also, it says that you pay now and you get an Advanced Contract Note for the currency. I don't know much about these things. Can I presume that the downside of this company is that should anything happen to it between now and when I'm due to get my currency, I wouldn't get my money? Just want to know how risky it really is.Thanks

This is the same company as Crown Currency Exchange whom I have used 3 times without any problems. The currency was delivered on the date we agreed by Royal Mail Special Delivery.

You call them up, tell them how much you want and when you want it delivered and they tell you how much it costs. They email you immediately with the details and you send the cheque with a copy of the email. They will email you to confirm receipt.

I would certainly use them again.
  • hmm will the loss of interest in the savings account be compensated for the higher xchange rate? 5 months is a long time to give someone your money for.

with interest rates in the states coming down again IMHO, the rate should rise slightly.
