greetings,
i hope someone here may be able to give me some advice on the changes to ib and the new welfare reform bill and work focussed interviews in scotland which begin in oct 2008.
i am currently claiming ib which i have just had my ib interview review a few months ago. i did not have to attend an interview with the doctor this time and i recieved a letter saying i now dont need to be re assesed till may 2012. can someone tell me if i will be recalled because of the new changes in ib or will i be left till may 2012 for a review?
thanks for any help and advice anyone can give me!

As you are already claiming IB, the introduction of the new benefit called ESA- only for new claims from Oct 08- will not affect you just yet.
Your next PCA medical will probably be in 2012- but nothing's guaranteed.
Other changes, such as, merging some/all IB claims onto ESA at some time in the future, have not yet been announced.0 -
