Hi everyone
Today I did my internet banking, cooked 14 dinners from 1kg of mince (only feeding myself), made 4 lots spag bol, 5 lots of savoury mince, 5 lots of mince curry, did my pigsback clicks, and stayed in, so NSD for me all round. Have also decided to put money on my oyster card yesterday instead of buying the usual travelcard, just interested to see which is cheaper for me.
Well done everyone, have a good evening.
Cheers

hi,
i left the house 5 mins earlier than usual so that i could pop into 1 boots before work as their 90% sale started today.
i got 4 or 5 lynx deoderant & shower gel sets, 1 x ted baker mens gift set and some cheap jewelery to put on ebay (used points)
during lunch popped into another boots - got 2 x ted baker female gift set, 1 ted baker mens gift set (different to the above) and 5 x free small sachet samples of mens moulding hair paste (came to £4.50 and paid with points). also went to sainsbury's and got 1 x jar tomato & something pizza topping, 3 x 4 pk diet coke with vitamins spending a grand sum of 28p (can come from joint budget).
i've left most of it under my desk at work as it was all too bulky and heavy to take home.
asda - taken from joint budget 1kg icing sugar and 2 x asda eat smart lasagne (£1.55)
i'll not be on to post tomorrow as it's my birthday as i've taken the day off work to go shopping (and check out undiscovered bargains i've not had time to find), meet a friend for lunch and take out my family, parents, sisters for dinner. can't see it being much of a df day. on the plus side i won't be buying myself the louis vuitton scarf i had been wanting for months as i've brought myself lots of lovely things already this month.
will drag myself out of bed later to package up ebay item sold.Tesco points: 101 (£21.50, £19.50, £7.50, £21 & £5)

Hi everyone!
Today I have:
- Only spent £1.19! This was on my partners dinner - completely unessential as we have food in the house, but he was being awkward. It wasn't even spent in a supermarket, but in an over-priced garage!
- Used bus pass to get to work for free. By using the bus pass, not only do I save on bus fare, but it also stops me from buying chocolate in order to get some change for the bus!
- Taken sandwiches to work with me. Sandwiches today were very nice and only cost me around 60p to make - I would usually spend £2 in Tesco on lunch.
- Entered competitons. I've entered 5 quick competitions on Now Magazine's website.
- Checked online banking. Argh - hate it being the end of the month - so skint!0 -
Happy birthday for tomorrow Sans, hope its a good one.

Haven't posted much for a couple of days been filling out tax returns. yay.
So in a way i have been moneys saving because i haven't had time to go anywhere. Took ds for his english lesson, used the car but got 1 hour free parking.
Went to dh favourite shop Poundland and spent £6
a set of 4 mugs 1 plug in airfreshner and 3 refills a glass chopping board, and a paper trimmer.
My last air freshner cost me £3.39 and ithe refill was nearly as expensive:eek:
I think my last chopping board was £6, so a few bargains there i think.
I did check my online banking today and my natwest balance while i was in town,
Had a couple of free samples in the post, make-up and olay regenerise? DS got some free T-bags and a 50p off voucher.
To tired to click:( Hot water bottle and bedMy finances are work in progress.Normal veiwing will resume shortly0 -

Does remembering that I am single and therefore do not have to to spend any money for Valentines day count as money saving?
If not I took my lunch with me to work again.
