Microsoft Antispyware deliberately ignores adware

Must say I've really started to like MSAntispyware over the past few months. But I did wonder how aggressive it would be when Microsoft were in charge of defining spyware.

I guess now we know *sigh*

It still detects the adware in question - but it recommends you ignore it rather than remove it icon9.gif

    When they get around to charging us for the privelage of having spyware on our computers, M.Anti is for the bin. I'd rather pay someone else like counterspy if I felt that another prog was needed.

    I would never use MS Antispy program. Maybe I'm paranoid, but I don't like the idea of MS being in control of what is allowed on my PC and what isn't. I don't trust them, especially where big business and dollars are involved.

    Ad-aware, Spybot S&D and Pest Patrol will do for me.
