    Hello bigbill

I'll move your thread to the 'Motoring & Public Transport' board.

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. Depending on the type of use a 50cc could be a death trap, is he going to be using it on open national speed limit roads or just around town?

    Thanks for moving.

She will be using it around town only.

As a girl, scooters can be better. You can be protected by that front visor from biting wind. Especially if it's going to/from work and you've got a skirt on.

I did once see a 3-wheeler scooter. Hardly noticed the two wheels at the back as they were quite close together, so the 4rse-end of the scooter was just a tyre-width wider than usual.

    Thanks all
  • I'd go for a decent make too, please dont get one of the naff chinese copies, you should be able to get a half decent Piaggio zip 50 which would be perfect, also, they can be derestricted later on for an increase in performance / speed.
