Have you called them ? To see what's going on with this? I wouldn't wait for them to reply by email as the sooner you get a hotel the better as it's only a few weeks away.

Having checked their website, I think I'll run the risk of emailing them as I don't fancy paying out for a call to Ireland. If things have gone a over t, there isn't a shortage of hostel beds.
Pretty poor service if they have refunded me and cancelled my booking without going to the effort to contact me :mad:True perfection has to be imperfect,

One near heart attack later and I can relax. Apparently as the booking was created in GBP not Euros and they are an Irish company it can take up to ten days for the transaction to show on my account. That would explain the money 'reappearing' in my account if it didn't leave in the first place.
But they confirmed the booking a second time in the email to go along with the automated confirmation, so I can relax again. Cancelling my booking without telling me would have been shoddy service, replying to my email query within five minutes of me clicking the send button is anything but
