Buying dollars

Hi All
Im off to Florida in November and am wondering if it would be worth buying dollars for my trip now taking into account how weak the dollar is against the pound at the moment. If I wait until the near the time the exchange rate may not be so good??
Can anyone advise??

2008 is the year to:
1.Sort out electricity meter (if its the last thing I do-at least is means my other half will be left with the bill :rolleyes: )
2.Save enough c/card points for holiday to Mauritius next year
3.Start stoozing-maybe a slow one to begin with!
