Yes but if you have a carers ticket and you were doing museums should you have had to pay anything at all? It seems wrong - surely just the transport costs are enough for a family! Museums should be free. Which was the best bit?

This was the first time I had braved taking my 4 kids to London!
We caught the local train which was £30 but cheaper than advertised on the website. The museums were free entry, spent most of the day at the science museum, and did the spongebob simulator and the CMax cimema which did cost. The cimema was amazing though, I sat next to youngest DD who kept trying to grab the dinosaurs!

This was the only activity the kids had done all half term as most of it we were decorating and spring cleaning, which they all helped with.

Didn't have to pay for OH travel because he was in London for a work "do" Saturday night and can claim his back on expenses
Hoping to stick to the challenge this year!!

  • Lysa - I hardly ever qualify for VO surveys, but recently I've been quite lucky (if you can call it that, some of their surveys are a real snoozefest!) - not sure what's changed!

I'd be interested to find out more about the languages thing - do you think they'd take on another Geordie?!
