You can turn the volume totally off so you don't have to listen to the stupid bingo calls! You could just watch the stupid numbers come up instead! Even better, you can go away and do something else for 3 minutes and then come back and see who won! (View your 'transactions' if you miss it totally, that will tell you!) Today I noticed someone called 'Ishouldbestudyin' kept winning!

  • Hi Batgirl and all

    Thank you for your welcome

Can I do this challenge then transfer the money to my "secret squirrell" account -thats my free christmas money? or would that be cheating? Is counting money off coupons OK too cos some I got from complaint letters etc. I'm doing OK on my free christmas, but if I could get an extra £150-200 a month this would pay for some holiday activites for the kids this summer - or go towards my "need more space" moving fund!

Sorry so many questions from a "unofficial"

Mind you don't know how I would make the extra money without bingo!!
Hoping to stick to the challenge this year!!

  • Good evening all! Pretty measly for me tonight - just sold a DVD on amazon for a whopping 1.83. Not the worst thing in the world though as I've just got in from my "romantic" evening with DH - we went to Nando's with a couple of friends. :p

Hope you all had a nice Valentines, you certainly all deserve it!

You can do what you like with the money at the end of the month. I think we are all saving for different things, and I know there are a few people here that use this challenge as a mini challenge to help with a longer challenge ( ie Olympic). So you can do the same.

I too try and save at least £200 for summer holiday treats as i don't work at all through school holidays so its nice to get money in advance so I can make the most of having my boys to play with.

Vouchers can be used if you were going to spend the money on the item anyway, a lot of people swap their vouchers for cash from their food funds etc so thats fine too.

Also can I be nosey and ask how much you are aiming for for xmas? You seem to have a lot already

Good luck with the challenge I've added you to the first page.

DonnaDoop I have also added you to the first page if you read the first page it will give you some ideas as to how most people make their pennies
