Hi, I made £21 today from a mystery shop and a £9 bingo win just now, but I can't add either on to my total till I see it in the bank! The bonus was the mystery shop was in Newquay, about 14 miles from where I live, so I got two walks on two beaches while I was there! Surf was SO white and noisy, sea SO blue. Summer is here in Cornwall!:j0

Thanks to another bingo win, I am now up to £241.90 which is absolutely brilliant except to be honest the winning is making me lazy. I eventually got round to listing 2 of the items on Ebay - no bids yet but plenty of watchers so am hopeful for a few quid profit. Have not been doing daily clicks cos I've been busy at work, have however done a few mystery shops with a few more lined up. Hopefully I'll make the target.
Just to say that I have added the bingo wins into my total even tho I haven't actually got the cash from them yet - I hope this is ok? I am withdrawing two wins and waiting until they hit the bank before depositing any more of my own cash. Have another 2 withdrawls to make so hopefully they will go into the bank before end of the month. Still have loads of sites to play but am almost afraid to play them before I get my dosh in case I win again. :rolleyes:0 -
Hi Leothecat, well done on your bingo winnings. Yes, i've won on two sites but have held off doing any more until i have the winnings from the first two come through, especially as I've heard a few of the stories regarding payments. Once i get my money though, I'll be moving on to a few more sites. Nothing more to report from me, i've sold something on ebay for a £2 profit, sold a book yesterday and have completed a few surveys today.:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

Today I went to one of my favorite things, a library sale. My own house has about as many books, but the ladies in the library have told me any books they don't sell in the one day sale get put in a skip (not even recycled  !) so i take anything that i like the look of for me, and any textbooks as I know someone will need these. My library charge £1 per carrier bag, or the one down the road charges £3 per bin bag. I always give them a couple of quid extra as I think it's an unbelieveable bargain, but as they put it, they just want shot of them, the money is just a bonus.I don't resell most of these, but I do sell some of my existing books, as I decided having six bookcases was enough! A lot of the books are in decent condition, and are just unpopular so are cleared out to make way for new books. Call around your local libraries, look on the council's website, and check the local paper. Got 7 bags today, for which I gave them a tenner, but it's at least 200 books, I remember the days when I wouldn't have thought twice about paying £7 for one book! :rotfl:
Thank you!!!! I have a libary on the estate next to me and i think i remember buying books from it when i was younger so i will get a hold of their phone numbers and get on the case! thats a bargin for 200 books wish i lived near your libary!!Aug £10 a day £0/£10000 -

It's quite difficult to get into, no referrals, adn you can't join via their site. I got an email asking me to join, but I know that usually people join by clicking on banners on various other sites!! I was really lucky0 -
CatwOman - I am intrigued by the wedding costs on your sig - it seems such a lot to pay for one day - had you thought about moneysaving it?
For mine we all started off at our house, got a bus altogether to the registry office, did our own photography, did our own food - we just bought every type of cheese under the sun and every type of bread, and some drink, and came back on the bus. The place we lived then had woods at the bottom of the garden, so after the eating and drinking some of us had a grand water pistol fight in the woods (well, we were young then!) Everyone said how different and informal it was, and I've never regretted it. There was really none of the 'stress' as well as the expense that often happens with weddings.0
