I've been booted from bingo :( Boooo, only won £14 something - harsh stuff.

Anyways got £10 yesterday from a survey I did for Grass Roots and £40 today (:D) for selling an old TV we had in the house.

    Still waaaaaaaay behind though!

How did you get booted - what happened? what had you done to make them boot you?

That was an odd Cashcade email Batgirl - I haven't had anything like that. Still, it wasn't too nasty, if the worst they'll do is stop you playing then that's fair game I suppose.

Sorry sorry sorry all that I missed the MB thing last night - a friend that's got all my Ebay stock stored is moving house on Saturday, so we had to make a start on shifting that and I wasn't home until late. Sounds as though there were a few technical glitches but hopefully something worthwhile came out of it. I still say 11/10 to Welshgirl for offering her services!

Got a £10 mystery shop at my own bank branch yesterday, about 500yds from my house, so excellent bonus! DH is doing one for me today on his way home from work, so that'll be another £10. I did a 17p survey this morning (Ciao, obviously with that payment rate!) and one for 5,200 points of some description, plus another for 3,400 points! Will add £21 to my total as a rough estimate of what they're worth!

why dont some of you go to the referrals board as there are some good money earners there that might make hitting the tenner a day a lot easier ans count me in for next month please

  • Hiya...can i ask what thriftstoreuk is?:A

    Hi :)
It's a selling and trading community on LiveJournal (www.livejournal.com), I keep an online journal over there and joined a couple of years ago. You have to apply and the mods keep an eye on posts and if they meet the rules and guidelines. The majority of members are women (and many are students) and they sell/trade any unwanted clothing, accessories, dvds/games, cosmetics etc.

I generally try and sell on there before ebaying as there are no fees! Feel free to PM me if you want any more information!
2008 wins: Avon handcream, 4 x body cream set, L'Oreal moisturiser, Tom Tom One XL sat nav, Jackie Collins book, Orange Liveradio, 6 night holiday to China!, 2 x Status Quo tickets, St Helier Cider stuff, Aperitivo bowl, signed Paul O'Grady book, Jessop's CeWe photo book, Flight of the Red Balloon dvds/book, Wild Bean Cafe mug & spoon.

My last spurt for the end of the month. (I'm not going to do a total this month but I'm still using the last two days!)

    Today:

£5 on free bingo at Gala!!! :j
£5 bingo scratchcard. (As a treat I've allowed myself the £5 as gambling money!!! and won an extra £5.) I haven't withdrawn any yet though so there's a chance that I can lose the lot yet! :o :rotfl:
£5 admin fee waived at new cashback site cashbackkings
Finally sent off for a cheque from Globaltestmarket. Should be for around £20
  • Forgive the dumb newbie post - I was about to ask to join this, but it's kinda late for me to do this for Feb - will a new thread get started for March? If so that'll give me a day and a half to read how you guys do it and get ready for next month!!:)
