Benchmark Log Book for new Boiler - solicitor has asked for it!

eeek, had a new boiler installed in 2006, the solicitor has asked for a works dertificate (duplicate now ordered from corgi) but i cant seem to find the safe place i put the log.
does anyone know how I can get a replacement?

Don't think you can, i believe it is filled out when the installer commissions the boiler and left with the customer, I think its for the benefit of future servicers, wasn't aware it was a legal document.0

Good morning: The Benchmark Log isn't a legal document...it is an installation record/service log and part of broader scheme promoted by the Heating and Hot Water Industry Council http://www.centralheating.co.uk/index/fuseaction/site.articleDetail/con_id/7480
Only the original installer can complete the installation section, other (or same) CORGI would fill in the service section annually. As a compromise, have the boiler serviced and have your CORGI complete a Gas Safety Certificate.
