Housing/Council Tax Benefit Calculator

Options
I've just stumbled across this calculator on East Lindsey District Council's website. It says that it is only an estimation, but I think it's better than the Entitled To website and seems more accurate.

http://www.e-lindsey.gov.uk/advice/benefits/benefits-calculator.cfm

However, please bear in mind that this is East Lindsey's rules i.e. they don't include War Pensions and is a local exemption. But still, it seems quite an easy to follow calculator.

Hope it helps some of you

Most local councils will have this on their website. However, none of them (that I am aware of) take into account the eligible rent, so any amount received may be limited if the market rent is deemed to be too high.

Well, like I said, it might help someone better than other sites that are available and as previously said it is only an estimate!!!
