The OP stated that Tesco PF (RBS) posted the statement on 24th December
No they didn't Thomas. They said the statement was dated, ie closed off, on the 24th December. Most statements take 3-4 days to be sent (in my experience), which would mean it might not actually have been posted until Monday 31st. Tuesday 1st, being a public holiday, would have meant it was entirely possible for it to be delayed until Saturday 5th...especially if sent 2nd class.

At the end of the day, DD's are not influenced by the postal system used. :)

And if you really don't want to use DD's then pick a card with more than 46 days interest free.

YorkshireBoy, you are correct the OP did say ''dated'' & not ''Posted''.

2nd class??? No 2nd class postage on a Tesco credit card envelope so it could be 3rd - 8th class depending on the level of contract mail used!

I used to pay the minimum monthly amount on my Tesco card by D/D & the rest by debit card but I have now opted for full monthly repayment by D/D.

Yes, I did notice that on my latest statement dated 17th January that the due date has been moved forward by 6 days!
