Easyjet change Terminal at CDG

Have been advised that all Easyjet flights will now arrive/depart from CDG 2B. Much better to get to compared to Terminal 3 as up until now. This took effect on 27th January 2008.

Thanks for that. My husband is going through CDG this week with Easyjet (Returning from Paris). He may not have been aware otherwise, as he is flying to Paris using another airline.

That has to be good news - that old hanger that they used was right at the back of the airport!

Not that old as it was specifically built for the low costers but 2B will be so much better for everything, saving you to hop on another bus to get to T3 and all travelling time that goes with it. 2B has restaurants and bars and chenist shops and post office and....that T3 saddly lacked.

We only found out about this on Sunday 27th, when we got off the bus at Terminal 3 having already driven through Terminal 2!!!
Our flight arrived at Terminal 3 on the Thursday, easyjet then sent me an email on the Friday about the terminal change but i didn't have internet access while in Paris so a little more warning would have been nice!
It was quite disorganised on Sunday, as we were shuntered from one gate to another, with confusion as to where we were going, we also had to go through two sets of passport control, one hidden round a corner before we got to the slow moving single file security check that was right at the gate, meaning we were stuck in the queue whilst we could see others boarding, so much for priority boarding!
From speaking to others who have had similar experiences at CDG i think that this is the fault of the airport rather than easyjet though.

excellent news, much easier to access the train station now (although they have a new mini-rail thing between the terminals now which is much quicker than the bus)

On this thread good news for us. Anyone got experience of terminal 2b to train to catch TGV we land 11.45 and TGV departs 12.50 i think our chances are better at 2b than 3 but will we still make it?

Oh yeah, that's ample time. The TGV station is under Terminal 2. This means you walk from 2B to the TGV, as opposed to land at T3, walk to CDGVAL, take CDGVAL to T2, walk to TGV.

This is good news for me as I usually EasyJet from Paris, and arrive there on the TGV or on Air France, both of which are at T2.

Just to sum up :

Terminal 3 (old EasyJet place) :
- Has bus station
- Right next to the RER (Metro) to central Paris

Terminal 2 (new EasyJet place) :
- Has the TGV station
- Has much closer links to continuing flights (such as Air France).
- Has many more shops and is generally nicer.

ample time between 2b and TGV, if you have hand baggage only however if you're waiting on luggage and it's slow in coming you could be in a hurry.
