Asda salmon rip off

Options
Shopping ASDA yesterday.
Wanted a fresh salmon fillet so bought one had it put in the nice cook in bag at £1.68, (approx. £12.80 p/kilo.) as walking away I noticed on the left hand side of the display, fresh salmon fillet £6.98 per kilo. almost 50% cheaper.
When I asked the assistant what the difference was she said thee wasn't any so I asked her to cut me a piece off and changed the one i had bought.
Whilst there i told about 6 other people. I lady changed 4 lots.
reported it to customer services but don't know what happened.
Funny thing is the £1.68 was on the 'roll back' offer, should have been £1.78.
