CCJ & Getting Credit

Hi,

I have a CCJ with an Administration Order attached to it. It is currently up to date, and all my creditors are being paid via the County Court. However, no matter where I apply for credit, (even the high interest cards!), I am being refused credit and therefore am finding it extremely hard to build my Credit Rating back up again. Please can anyone tell me where/how I might be able to apply for a credit card without being rejected. I have tried Capital One, Vanquis and MBNA, all without success.

I understand that I shouldn't get myself in to any more debt, but it is becoming ever harder to manage my life as the only card I have is a Solo card and that is not accepted everywhere. I also need to buy things but can't afford to pay for them all in one lump sum. If anyone can help, I'd be extremely grateful.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but if you can't get a Capital One or Vanquis card then I doubt you'll get one.

I agree with Jimbo26 that you are most unlikely to be offered any credit. After all you are not paying your existing debts in accordance with the original contracts so people will not trust you to pay new ones either.

However, you simply must learn to save before spending.

Just think about it, if you went into a shop and bought something costing a £100 but insisted in paying £130 everyone would assume you were mad. But when you get credit to buy the product that's exactly what you are doing.
