I've had problems trying to get hold of dell finance just to change my direct debit details, eventually I found the correct number which puts you through to someone in Ireland:
0870 907 4173
Hope this helps someone
This is now an automated line! Can anyone tell me the number to actually speak to someone? I need to change my direct debit details and in their terms they charge £15 for a failed DD. It's only for £6.65!!!0 -
Hi
I too have been caught by the "buy now pay in 6 months" and after trying to settle the payment today 6 months since purchase was told that interest had been accruing throughout the 6 months and obviously the sum was considerably more
I feel this is definitely a mis sold situation and the FOS should be the body to contact which is what I shall be doing and will post any feedback. If any one has had a result throught the FOS I would very much like to hear. The Dell Finance tel.no is 0870 907 4000 for anyone who needs to get intouch with the same prob.0 -

As far as I see it, with their current buy now pay later, providing you pay within the time, you pay the price of the product + £10 settlement figure and a £49 admin fee for taking it on the BNPL.
Are you sure you haven't gone even a day over the 6 months. Common problems include, the 6 months starting, when the credit was applied for and not the day the agreement is signed.
Also with say some companies, as I and others have found out, you must tell them before the expiry date, sometime by a specfic method, to ensure payment is taking for the BNPL. If not the interest is back dated and added on.0 -
Thanks for all the help on this forum. The last phone number quoted was a dead end for me - it wouldn't ring at all. Perhaps because i'm trying to call at night. I did get through to the automated system to say that i still have 11 days to settle but obviously need to get on to it. Any thoughts, should i just send a cheque recorded delivery to financial services?0
