I popped into Waitrose as it was on my way home from dropping DS at football and I 'needed' wine and a treat - on the plus side the double chocolate tart I bought was in the reduced section and I got bits for school packed lunches in the reduced section too. I'm off to eat my choccie pudding now!!!0

OMG (and Martin) forgive me!
I spent a bl00dy fortune this month:
bag (to match my umbrella) - £170
Vanity case (to match new bag) - £125
2 suitcases (they really are VERY pretty) £400
2 piece suit (makes me feel like a million dollars) £70
scarf £20 (should have been £40 but they'd displayed a 50% off sign in the wrong place. I would have paid £40 and saw the purchase as a £20 saving)
Pot of tea & slice of pizza (whilst shopping) £5
Of course I'm not going to go shopping again for a long, long time.

over spent on mobile phone calls but really struggling since house phone been cut off. So, extra £10 on that at the weekend. Plus, went to cinema...extra £10 there. Although, lovely friend did treat me to a McDonalds!! Yesterday, went a bit overboard in Marks & Spencer as was asked to bring cakes in for a meeting but then someone else brought them in too and I feel too guilty to ask for money back since I ended up taking most of them home. £7.60 there on unnecessary expense. Oh, I should prob also own up to borrowing dvds from the video store on Thursday....damn, forgot about that!!! £7.50 there!!!DFW 228 LONG H 68

Spent £200 in two days on myself and OH - mainly for OH as he's out of work at the moment.
He got a call from an agency and I met him after work on Friday and he was so tired - I didn't have the heart to refuse him a Starbucks hot chocolate with cream. I also paid three outanding bills for him and lent him petrol money...
Thing is two days later we were scrabbling around for coppers and the tenner from Starbucks would have been ideal!
Felt a bit sick really but I know dear OH will pay me the money back eventally bless him.
Love Sassers x x x x
PS Just opened the post and been sent a refund from A&L for £184 - blimey I spose that's might be fate's way of rewarding me for helping OH.
