Sorry to ask yet another Kenwood question BUT
I've got no idea what to do with it!! If you are making a cake for example, do you just make it as you would normally, just using the KC to do the mixing for you (and do you use the K-beater or whisk?) Or is it better to use an all-in-one type recipe and just blend till mixed? Is it possible to over-mix a cake in it? How much mixture is it ok to make in it?
Sorry I know these may be silly questions:obut I have no instruction book and have never used one before, and I'm dying to get going with it! Any help/tips gratefully received...

Hi
I have no idea of the answers to your questions, but no doubt somebody will be along soon
In the meantime you might be able to order or download a manual from Kenwood...

Hi
You can download the manual for the A701 model here: http://www.kenwoodservice.co.uk/instructions/A701instructions.htm
The manual is pretty much the same for any of the vintage models, I think.
I find the best results for cakes are with traditional mixing methods (e.g. cream the sugar and butter, etc.) rather than the all-in-one methods. But the mix for a 4oz/2 egg victoria sponge will look lost in it - so I usually make double. I think the maximum capacities are in the manual but I am not sureGood luck
