Just to let you know, the thread I have posted called SPONS is a book that used in Facilities Management, it gives u guidelines on how much things should cost, for example cost of walpapering a wall, it will give u a guideline on how much a contractor should be charging per m(square) and gives detailes of nearly all refurbishment costs. It is a guide line but good for questioning quotes from contractors and the cost associated with the work..
This is by the way a very expensive book so as yet apart from our office, I have yet to find one in the library.

SPONS is a useful book, but apart from the cost, you do need to know how to use it. Many builders will not even use this book.0
