wireless laptop

Hello, sorry if I'm asking something that's been answered before, but I can't find what I want in any of the posts I've searched..

I have a wireless enabled laptop (Dell) and I want to be able to a. access the internet from anywhere in my house - i understand I'll need to switch to broadband (will have to be Karoo in Hull) & get a router for this, & b. have a wireless connection to my printer. Can I use the router for my internet connection to connect to my printer as well?

Thanks for your help

Yes this should not be a problem at all if you have a wireless printer.

    Hi,

I use an Asus WL-500g wireless router. It has built in parallel and USB port ie. it can be used as a print server too.

Check their website (Asus) as it isn't compatible with all printers. It's a good way to have a wireless printer connection without having to buy a router AND a print server.
