Help please! - Flights to Las Vegas

This is my first post and was hoping for some help from you guys!
I am planning a trip to vegas at the end of August this year, The packages are very expensive so I have been looking at booking flights and hotel seperatly. I want to stay at the MGM Grand and by going direct with them I can save alot.
The only problem I am having is the flights...so far the cheapest I have found is with Virgin for £546. I want to go for 5-7 days and I am looking to leave no earlier than 16th August 08 and be back no later than 27th August 08. Flights must be direct, I can go from all London Airports, Manchester etc.
Any help or advise would be much appreciated, please tell me if you think this is the best price I am going to get!
