included on adult passport - photo ID?

Hi all,
I have booked flights to Majorca with Ryan Air. My son is included on my husband's passport, as we got it in the days when that was still allowed, and the passport is still valid. However, although he is named on the passport, he does not have his photo on it. Would Ryan Air let him fly, as although he has a valid passport, it is not 'photo ID'?:confused: Thanks for any advice, don't want to be turned away at the gate!

    Think I have answered my own question - this is from the Ryan Air website:

    Photo-ID for children under 16 years is not required for:
    • Children included on the passport of the parent with whom they are travelling.
    If anyone can confirm that their child has travelled with Ryan Air without photo ID, it would doubly put my mind at rest!

    Yep, I know a family that travels approx once a month with the kids on the parents passport x
    Gone ... or have I?

    Yes no problem. Did this with 2 of my kids until my passport expired last year
