Can anybody recommend a good back street garage or hobble mechanic who is experienced in working on Toyota cars? I'm fed-up with paying through the nose at main franchise dealers.

I sympathise because I drive a Toyota and pay their service charges too.

I don't have any connection with the Toyota company, I'm just a happy customer. I originally bought a Toyota car (on my fourth Toyota now) because of the superb results in the JD Powers Survey for customer satisfaction and reliability scores.

Let me ask you if you are happy with your Toyota car's reliability, does it ever let you down? Would you like to take the risk of taking it to another (non Toyota) service garage and have non Toyota parts installed?

You get what you pay for, in my opinion.
