Netsounds mail order - BEWARE
I don't know if anyone has come across or used this site previously (https://www.netsounds.com), basically it is a marketplace for many sellers to sell music related items.
I placed 2 orders with them from a company based in Germany call 'Fun Records' (believe me my dealings with them have been far from fun!).
Anyway the first order was for 3 Cd's and the second order was for another 2 Cd's (I had to place 2 separate orders with them as I wanted 2 x 1 item and you are unable to add 2 items to the shopping cart on the site it they are the same!).
ORDER 1
CD-Single 402772 at GBP 8.99
CD-Single 280693 at GBP 9.99
CD-Single 219451 at GBP 7.99
ORDER 2
CD-Single 280693 at GBP 9.99
CD-Single 145894 at GBP 3.99
I was advised by them they were shipping all items together at a cost of £45.45 including shipping.
This is where the 'Fun' begins!
However checking online on my credit card transactions I have noticed 2 charges from 'Netsounds' (they actually act as a payment collector for the seller), even though these items were purchased in Germany. The first charge £45.45 then an additional charge for £18.48.
I contacted 'Fun Records' in Germany and after a week they finally got back last week stating these were my orders:
ORDER 1 - Invoice 26125
CD-Single 219451
CD-Single 402772
CD-Single 280693
CD-Single 145894
CD-Single 280693
ORDER 2 - Invoice 26125
CD-Single 145894
CD-Single 280693
To me It is very clear what they have done they have added both my orders together and then charged yet again for the 2nd order, however what is well dodgy is they have charged them against the same invoice number
However the problem is Netsounds are refusing to give me a credit and for the items I never ordered (I have proof of what I actually ordered), and the music shop in Germany refuse to accept they have made an error. The copy of the Invoice from them states only 5 orders have been shipped (I have definitely been charged for 7), they say they will only refund when I have shipped the items back to them at MY COST!
Why are they allowed to charge additional items to my order that I never ordered to my card?
The invoice states they have only shipped 5 items which is what I ordered, so how can I do that anyway? I have explained all this to them but I just end up :wall:
Originally upon contact Netsounds said they would issue a credit however they have just kept putting this off telling me to talk directly to the seller, all emails to the seller have met with the same response - You item is shipped and that is that (I will actually add they I have actually failed to receive anything at all!).
I finally sent an email to Netsounds asking for the credit that they originally agreed or I would have to contact my card issuer and report unauthorised charges on my card, to which they have now responded that they have withdrawn the offer of a refund!
Cheeky sods!
Any help or advise on this one - Will my credit card be able to help (morethancard), I have contacted them and they state I can raise dispute claims (they will send me a form) but I will need to see the item on my statement first (they currently show as current transactions).
It all seems a bit messy, paid for items not received and charged for items that I never ordered in the first place. As I mentioned I have my 2 order confirmation emails from them showing the 5 items ordered and NOT 7 so I guess that will be of some help.
ok rant over!

Write to &more stating that you are disputing the charge, explaining why and include a statement along the lines of:
' As you are jointly liable under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act, I intend to withhold payment of £XX.XX from my credit card account. I do not intend to pay any added interest charges on the amount withheld. Please advise how you intend to help resolve this issue.'
Do it by letter (not by phone or email) and send it recorded delivery to the address on your statement. Don't wait until it appears on your bill or wait for a form. Good luck and HTH.There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
It's for the many and not the few. Be sure it's out there looking for you.
In every town, in every state. In every house and every gate.
Wth every precious smile you make. And every act of kindness.
