Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders first met at London's Central School for Speech and Drama. After appearing as part of Comic Strip alongside Rik Mayall and Chris Langham, the pair first aired their hit sketch show French and Saunders in 1987. Twenty years of French and Saunders later and with numerous separate successes such as Saunders' show Absolutely Fabulous and French's The Vicar of Dibley, the duo are Britain's foremost female comedy duo.
