Evening - first posting this week and no flying yet either!

Hope everyone all ok, hugs to those who need them, welcomes to all new flyers and returners, and luaghs at all the men probs, must have been the day for them.

Decided yesterday that I wasnt going to clean the cupboards as they are still soooo shiny then after tea started to come down with a stinking cold so went to bed early at 9 - most unusual for me. Today I got sent home from work so spent the afternoon asleep on the sofa while OH minced the leftover lamb and made shepherds pie for tea which was lovely and a real treat not to have to make it.

Laughed at the discussions about body/boob size. I found a card the other day with my weight and measurements on from March 97 when I weighed 8 1/2 stone. Pleased to say have only put on 2lb in 11 years but I still have no boobs so as a 32A/B and 5'9" am built like a bean pole and not happy about it. Why is it we all want to be something we're not :o .

Hope you get on ok with your course lilme and look forward to pigpen cracking the flylady whip - should be fun again especially if she changes all the rooms around again.

Well I gotta get on and repair DD's dress for tomorrow then another early night.

    See you all tomorrow hopefully

Soappie.. fabulous.. Money for doing nowt and no fees to pay!!! WTG!! How on earth did you end up with all these maps though?

Kaz.. I may well do a room shift.. you'll have to wait and see.

Mudbath I have one child that is an I fitting and one that is 'almost' a D.. She is a C fitting but they don't actually make them! We ALWAYS end up at startrite.. and she has a choice of this pair or none! All mine have a high instep, low ankle bones and a knobble on the top of their feet which means all closed shoes rub and make blisters..I LOVE taking mine for shoes!

As for singstar.. I absolutely LOVE it.. it is definitely one of my favourites.. we have them all pop hits, rock legends, anthems, 80's, high school musical, dance.. everything!! If hubby is about as grown up as me and likes singing along when the radio is on.. he will LOVE it!! I just got the police academy box set for mine for xmas

Bebee.. I do not lead people astray.. I whip them.. and spank them with my fluffy mules and beat them with my golden feather duster of power!!

Do we need any 'challenge' next week like I did before?? ebay? ironing? mucking out? binbag dancing?? I shall I just hammer a bit of everything in the missions?

Isn't it amazing when you have been flying, and you get up in the morning to a lovely clean kitchen?:T

All this talk of ebaying got me thinking so I've put a few bits up (finishing on Thurs)- one with bids, one watched, one nothing... and last night I ended up buying OH a t shirt he really wanted, cos I have paypal and he doesn't. So now I'm minus £13!!!

Anyway, he's been a love today and moved a bookcase from downstairs to my "office" upstairs, so I won't complain too much.

Tuesday - Lovely Living Rooms and Safe Stairs
    Level One
[strike]Vacuum floors in these areas, even if around clutter [/strike][strike]
    [/strike]
[strike]Clear anything from the stairs! Safe stairs are a must[/strike]
    Level Two
[strike]Move clutter so you can vacuum under it [/strike][strike]
    [/strike]
Vacuum and wipe (if needed) sofas
[strike]Dust any areas below eye level [/strike]
    Level Three
[strike]Dust anything above eye level (if safe to do so) [/strike][strike]
Clear anything that shouldn't be where it is, ahem that includes that cup![/strike]

Wipe the bits next to the steps on the stairs, yours might be skirting board, edging of some sort, grab a cloth and give it a wipe
Extra Mission Tasks - as usual if you fancy tackling something else you could try one or more of these
    • Check where important documents like passports, birth certificates, driving licences, medical cards are and make a note of where they are and if any need replacing, changing etc (yes I know it's repeated but lots of members were not about when it was done)
    • Spend 15 minutes sorting paperwork, dealing with anything urgent NOW
    • Wipe down window frames in these rooms (inside) clean any marks from window
[strike]Clean out the vacuum cleaner, empty the bag/bucket[/strike], clean filters if they are washable MAKE SURE YOU DON'T PUT THEM BACK UNTIL THEY ARE DRY!
    • 20 minutes ironing time to get that pile down, oh and make sure you put it away!
Also did: WM x3 +hung out; dw; batch meals for dd

Having a cup of tea now and catching up on stuff- bliss!!!

*** just read pigpen's post above this one and I'm now wondering if it is wrong to be slightly excited .. not by the mules etc but by the idea of a new challenge?!!!!!!! ***

Mudbath - If your Hubbie is into rock music he will love it!. It is DH game but because of the different levels the 5 year old can play it too. I am not usually into computer games but even i can play a good "schools out for summer". Well worth the money, plus DH download the foo fighters songs so once you master the ones on the game there are loads to download.

Pigpen - what console do you have singstar for?? We got it for PS3 and there is not a huge choice of songs, I was hoping for ones the littles might know or easy to pick up. Have looked at the download selection and not noticed the HSM. Have to admit I quite like that game too but think it needs setting up through the stereo at the same time.

Littles fast asleep - 5 pages of The Lion King did the job:cool: .

BM just beeped at me so will go make my rolls. Have also handwashed the only bra that seems to fit me at the mo. I have a draw full of them that seem to fit ok in the shop but as soon as I wear them for 10 mins my "cups runneth over" if you get my drift :rotfl: . Its something I am paroniod about as I notice it on other ladies and think it looks horrible:eek: .

    So....
Rolls, ironing, crappy telly while doing food lists

    Hi all,
Crikey Soappie, those maps are doing well, proper money spinner in the attic stuff!
Another one laughing at your OH ranting. I don't (currently) have an OH to rant about but I do get my money's worth at work. We have permission from two guys wives to keep them in line when they're not at home and one poor man had a chorus of us in the tea room when he stood by the cooker saying 'somebody's pan is boiling over' again and again..well turn it down then!!
Hugs to those trying to shift some weight. I'm with Kaz on this one, 5'5 34A and always been a bit of a stick. Can I have some curves please and a bum? Thank yooou.
Wish you well with your next course Lil_me, you did well on your last one if I remember and that was when you had all those neighbour problems. No distractions this time. Pigpen, are you going to keep us on our toes with surprise rooms on different days again or is it top secret just now?

Haven't made a start yet 'cos I've been too damn cold. There's really only vaccuuming to be done and a lazy dust with the fluffy attachment. I can sit and do the hotspot from here.

It's taken me ages to type this, I think I'm just putting off making a start..HHC at 8..any takers? I promise I won't take any phonecalls and leave you doing it on your own this time..

    Evening all,

lil_me thanks for this weeks list and good luck with your course, pigpen go gently with us and not too many room swaps.

mudbath I have a friend who has kids with similar shoes widths to yours and she is always complaining about the price of her kids shoes as only the expensive shops seem to have small fittings.

dusty I did some invigilating today - english higher prelims fortunately only 90 mins as I was soooo bored apart from handing over a couple of pencils there was nothing to do, only exciting part was when we were leaving and two 4th formers started fighting unfortunately for them they start in front of a deputy who is 6'5 high & wide and takes no prisoners so they were last seen being marched off to his office - did make me laugh they weren't as macho then.

Anyway flying wise hasnt really happend yet I cant the hang of work and flying I am managing my dailies and did a couple of bits in the kitchen yesterday and have decluttered the lounge but thats it, going to iron now and then sit down for the night will sort out a post tomorrow to catch up.
