Replace Sockets

I'd like to replace 2 single power sockets to double plug sockets.
What sort of price should I be expecting to pay for this from a qualified electrician? I'm in the North East.

I dont no the costs but we did our own using converter sockets from B&Q about £10 each converts one single to double or triple sockets. These protrude slightly from the wall though. If you can wire a plug you can doe these yourself but always make sure the power is of and if unsure of course get help.0

If you have a look in Wilkinsons you'll find a 4way socket, that'll more or less clip over the existing socket. So you won't need an electrician.
Not used one, but pretty sure it'll do the job.

It looks like a mosque!
As someone else has said, B+Q sell a converter to convert a 1 gang socket to 2 gang. They cost about £7.99, made by Volex."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0
