low volume on skype phone

i have just purchased a usb skype phone, with disc, set up was ok and have registered with skype out, however i appear to have low volume control on the phone, i had little instructions that came with it, though it appears to work ok, the phone on e bay states it has a volume control but without the instructions (not being fully computer aware ) i am having difficulty in increasing the volume, has anybody had the same problem, the phone is under e bay item number 5214518925 and clearly states ''ajustable volume for handset '' but alas i cannot find it, can anyone help me
