Internet explorer probs

hi

i am having probs accessing some sites that i know others are able to access fine

i think the problems started when i got an ipod the other day and now cant even get onto the apple itunes website. other websites i cant access are puzzler, virgin train fares, trainline, mature times to name but a few

any ideas what has happened or how to fix it?

    ISP, browser version, OS etc details may help.

    Have you tried a different browser to eliminate or not that as a the problem?

    im with orange for the internet
    have been using internet explorer - think its ie7
    have also tried firefox but got the same problem

    There is another thread on here regarding Orange customers have problems accessing certain sites. Not sure if anyone proved if it was a DNS problem or Orange routing.

    Those were my thoughts. I was having a similar issue with a couple of sites the other day and it turned out to be a problem at the ISP's (Talktalk) end with their routing tables. What would be helpful is if anyone else who uses Ornge could post here to say whether they're having problems with the same sites.

    Well some other Orange users have stated that using OpenDNS has helped them, more info here. Easy thing to try anyway if only to eliminate DNS problems.
