just had virgin broadband installed last week but they put in the room furthest away from computer while i was out and my wife didnt know what to do as they had arrived early.
Anyway as our house is on 3 levels im not getting strong enough signals from a linksys wrk54g router
We had a bt router and that gave strong signals throughout the house so can anyone recommend an appropriate router with distance and speed that doesnt cost to much otherwise i will have to pursuade virgin to revisit and recable

Have you tried changing the angle of the aerial? Maximum signal is at ninety degrees to the direction that the aerial points, so if you have it vertical, that is the worst angle for a three story house. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
thanks for info i will try it out before i buy a new one0
