Dreamlife - Is This A Scam?

I have done a search and cannot see anything previously posted on DreamLife so wanted to ask the forum if anyone had heard of DreamLife or "GetYourDreamLife". I am considering an opportunity that has come through the internet. Whilst I am very cautious I want to see if anyone has had an encounter with them positive or negative? First you email your interst, they then reply asking you to call a number (which they say enables you to then dial a second number - I think this is in America, at a rate of 1p per minute) to then listen to a talk/presentation about what is involved etc.
I am very tempted to phone, but am aware that this is possibly a scam. The thing that makes me nervous is the telephone number thing, but do not know how they would get any of your personal details from that and your previous email? Perhaps I am being totally niaive?
The website concerned is www.getyourdreamlife.com (hope that I am allowed to put this - I am not wanting to advertise them but it is so that other people can check it out for me) If it turns out to be a scam, then at least we can warn others. ADVICE PLEASE!

Its a get rich quick scam, where the only people who get rich are the people who get your money. She seems to be posting links to timeshare, lottery get rich schemes etc etc
Just move on.
"I am considering an opportunity that has come through the internet."
Why would anyone give you the opportunity when they themselves would just do it. They want your money, and the chances are your return is nothing. Investing in a spam email is not good practice.0 -
Bekibuns, you need to question where this company are going to make their money, and why they're doing it...
Why you would even contemplate phoning a number like this or replying to a SPAM email, I have no idea!!
They're just looking for gullible fools who'll phone the number, no doubt thinking they're paying 1p a minute, who will actually be paying £2 a minute... and by the time you realise it's a load of rubbish, it will already have cost you £50!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
If it was successful, they would have a website not designed by an 8-year old as a half-hearted homework assignment. And it certainly would not have come through as spam.
As mentioned before I cant believe you would even think of phoning a number on some spam.0 -
Thank you for your replies so far. I know that I probably sound gullible, but actually, it was not a spam email. I did a google search to find out about something else quite genuine and whilst I was looking at the website for the thing that I searched, I saw this "opportunity" on the same website. I would NEVER reply to the spammer or scammer. This person seems quite credible in other areas of her work so I wondered if it was ok. I must admit that the telephone number thing put me off and set alarm bells off. BBBekibuns:smileyhea

Common sense and belief in things spiritual or other-worldly are not always exclusive. Each to their own and just because you do not believe in these things, it would be a better world if you could respect the views of those that did. Nobody can be so arrogant as to knock others' religious or spiritual views because ultimately, none of us know the answers.
But respectfully, I thank you for your practical advice on this being a scam.BB

You are obviously very intelligent and experienced but I think you have made your point now. Time to move on. The whole point of this website forum is to constructively support each other, not belittle or intimidate.Bekibuns:smileyhea
