Eureka! LCD TV as monitor worked!!

Options
Good new guys - the LCD TV to PC thing worked excellent - the TV comes with a source already labelled "PC".
I turned down the brightness right away - there was no overscan problem so it seems pretty good. Any other measures to be taken?
Is there any way I can improve the clarity on the screen? Its clear but not crystal clear as you would get on a PC.
many thanks

Maybe try setting your screen resolution to match the native resolution of the TV?

On almost the same subject, I want to use an lcd monitor as a tv.

Son wants to connect his PS2 to the vga connection on his 19" lcd monitor so that he can use it to play games on.

It can be connected as follows:

PS2 > Scart switchbox > vga input on monitor.

Leads are available, so in theory it should work ?

Why not just connect the PS2 to the SCART on the LCD TV? There is absolutely no advantage to using VGA as the PS2 cannot increase its resolution.

Thanks but how do I figure out the native resolution of the TV itself?
