The ferry companies certainly did do this. I first became aware of it when people were complaining to "Watchdog" or a similar programme on TV - the message was "read the small print before you sign" !

Just did a quick expedia check and you can do Paris - Cardiff - Belfast for £74.50 one way with FlyBe (if thats any help)

I got all excited there before i realised i had posted the wrong date, we actually want to come home on the 10th, rugby match is on the 9th! D'oh!
Thanks for looking though. Im trying to resign myself to the fact that ill just have to watch the match at home.... :eek:

a. I was answering the point about whether the ferry companies actually do this - which they do.

b. Totally relevant - IF it's in the airline's T & Cs - which no one bothers to read.
