Additional ring circuits

I Have a two bedroom terrace house in essex (thurrock) with only one ring circuit for all the sockets , as it trips off under heavy load i want it changed to 3 rings, one upstairs, one downstairs and one kitchen (the oven & hob are on separate circuit & ok).as are the lights . I will also need a new consumer unit can anyone give me an idea of the costs and any recommended electricians would be great.

If you want that much work doing you may as well get the whole lot done. The lighting would be better split into 2 circuits and the cooker circuit could cause problems once connected to a new consumer unit with mcb/rcd protection. To rewire a 2 bed terrace I would charge from £1600.00 for a basic spec.(Iam in nwI)f you go for just an upgrade of the consumer unit and socket circuits I would knock about £300 off that price. However you could end up with problems on the remaining circuits in the future and have to go through all the mess again.
