My wife is pleased :) just a gloat!
Just arrived home with some £200 worth of plants.
Paid just under £25 for them.
In the Tavistock Focus clearence sale all plants were down to 50p each.
I got heebies, roses, 5 - yes 5 bay trees, hydrangers, various pampas, srubs etc and some other stuff. Total of some 57 plants.
2 trollies out to the van. Imagine my wife's face when I opened the van doors this evening. The rear half of the floor was covered in plants.

Well, she very rarely asks for anything, she just uses my money to buy it
Seriously though she did wonders for Christmas as usual and she gets scant reward for that.
This was a nice way of giving her a hortecultural stocking - ie loads of goodies that she can sort through and play with.
