Ipod Nano queries - very basic!

Hi all,

For over a year I have only listened to music on my ipod and sort of managed ok, by dragging and dropping MP3 files into my ipod Library.

Now I have discovered the delights of financial Podcasts such as Motley Fool and Martins Money Mutterings, and much more.

I have subscribed to a few podcasts now and although I can see them on-screen on my PC in the ipod library Podcast section, on my actual ipod they're not under the Podcast section, but only under Recently Added playlist - any ideas?

Any other tips and hints also much appreciated :T

Many thanks

What you need to do is to use iTunes to subscribe to the podcasts. Not all podcasts have this facility but a lot do. When subscribed, iTunes checks for new podcasts and downloads them. These podcasts are then located in the Podcast section.

If you have managed your iPod manually as you suggest then you will need to get to grips with iTunes for all this to work successfully.
  • Thanks Halloway - the latest podcasts were downloaded by 'it' and on-screen it claims they are in the Podcast section on the machine... but they are not... they're only to be found in the Recently Added section... bizzarre!
